User Data Deletion Instructions

Instructions for NeonBytes website data and NeonBytes-operated PageMate Meta integrations.

This page explains how to remove Facebook access and request deletion of applicable data associated with NeonBytes and PageMate.

Removing Facebook Access

You can remove the relevant NeonBytes or PageMate app from your Facebook account through Facebook's Apps and Websites settings. Facebook may change the exact menu names over time, but the setting is generally available in your account privacy or app permissions area.

Removing app access may stop PageMate from accessing the connected Facebook account or Page, but it may not automatically delete information already stored by NeonBytes for operational, audit, security, or backup purposes.

Requesting Deletion from NeonBytes

To request deletion, email NeonBytes at hello@neonbytes.ai with enough non-secret information for us to identify the relevant service, account, or connected Page.

Your request may include:

  • The app or service name, such as PageMate
  • Non-secret information that identifies the Facebook account or connected Page
  • A clear description of the data you want deleted

Do not send:

  • Facebook password
  • Facebook access token
  • App Secret
  • Security code or two-factor authentication code

What Happens After a Request

After NeonBytes receives a deletion request, we may need to verify that the requester is authorized to make the request. After verification, NeonBytes will identify applicable stored data and take steps to delete or anonymize it, subject to legal, security, operational, or abuse-prevention retention requirements.

If limited information must be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons, NeonBytes will retain only what is necessary for that purpose.
